Siam Corner Ma Ma Thai Nottingham is the latest addition to Siam Corner's group of venues. Located on George Street in Nottingham city centre, it features a fine dining restaurant and exclusive bar. Designed by a leading restaurant designer, it presents a unique blend of traditional and modern Thai interior designs.

In the Nottingham branch, a corner is dedicated to an exclusive bar, offering a wide variety of fine wine and classic cocktails with a twist to perfectly pair with Thai cuisine. In this quarter, you will be able to enjoy a drink while waiting to be seated or simply relax with family and friends after a long day. It is also a perfect spot to entertain your business colleagues.

Starter

Soup

Tom Yam is one of the best known Thai soups. It is spicy, sour, with a fragrance of lemongrass. The balanced combination of fish sauce and lime juice in lemongrass stock is perfect, cooked with prawns. If you like it hot, just adds more fresh Thai chillies at the end.

Tom Kha is similar to Tom Yam but the fragrance of galangal is more dominant, with added coconut milk in the stock to bring a smooth flavour of sweetness, balanced with fish sauce and lime juice, perfectly cooked with chicken.

Pho Tak is a fisherman's soup with lemongrass stock and a fragrance of basil leaves, balanced with fish sauce and lime juice, perfectly cooked with seafood.

Curry

Most Thai curries are made from fresh, rather than dried ingredients and derive their character from the spices chosen, which, other than chillies, can include galangal, lemongrass, magrut lime leaves, shallots and garlic. Many Thai curries use coconut milk with a choice of meat.

Grilled

One of our unique dishes is charcoal grilled your choice of marinated meat or seafood, and served with a variety of traditional Thai sauces; Nam Yam*, Nam Jim Jeaw** or a sweet chilli sauce. It is popular for Thai people to accompany these dishes with cold drinks on a very hot day.

Stir-fried

Why not try our traditional wok-fried dishes with fresh Thai herbs such as garlic, ginger, kra chai (crocus root), lemongrass, galangal, magrut lime leaves, Thai bird's eye chillies, basil. Probably the most popular Thai stir-fried dish on a hot day is Pud Bai Gra Prao with any kind of meat. Another traditional dish is Pud Prik Gaeng, literally €œstir-fried curry paste," stir-fried any kind of meat with a Thai red curry paste.
